(This thread is a continuation of I want a ZNC. What shall I do?)
Hello,
you’ve just got a Centravi ZNC. First of all, let’s say what features your ZNC has.
Protect nick overtake
Your ZNC is connected to a server permanently (excluding downtimes, maintenance and so on). It means your nick is protected from overtake – you have this nick for 24 hours per day and there’s no way for anyone how to reach your nick.
Private Messages logged
This point is connected to the above-mentioned. If you’re still online, people can send you the private messages. When you connect to your ZNC, you will receive them all.
Channels kept and talk logged
You’ve joined a channel. You don’t have to join all channels again because your ZNC is still connected. If you haven’t left and you’re still in, you can also log the conversation in the channel.
Real IP hidden
Since you use our ZNC you will get a host ‘centravi.org’ which hides your real IP.
I suppose that your helper asked you to auth yourself. If not, do it now, please.
Now, I'll show you how to set your ZNC step by step.
